According to the most recent Miami Beach Community Satisfaction Survey, a majority (89 percent) of resident respondents reported that their overall quality of life within the City of Miami Beach is either excellent or good. In addition, a record high, 89 percent reported Miami Beach as an “excellent” or “good” place to live.

Miami Beach Promotes Recycling

Miami Beach wants us to celebrate America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 14, 2009, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Lincoln Road at the Euclid Circle. Representatives from the recycling industry, non-profit environmental organizations, and City of Miami Beach staff will have informational booths.

City of Miami Beach Recycling Program

RECYCLING “Single-Stream” Recycling means that you will no longer have to separate your recyclable materials. Recycling services are provided by World Waste Services, Inc. to single family homes, buildings of 8 units or fewer provided that they are on city residential service.  Residents can contact Miami Dade County 3-1-1 to order recycling cart.
